New York City DOB Licensed Elevator Inspector

We are seeking a NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) Licensed Elevator Inspector to join our team. In this role your primary responsibilities will include to conduct periodic inspections and witness CAT 1 and CAT 5 elevator tests throughout New York City.
Responsibilities
- Witness CAT 1, CAT 5 elevator testing and perform periodic elevator inspections
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records in agency system
- Sign off on the tests and inspections you completed in DOB NOW
- Maintain required licenses and certifications
Requirements
- Valid and active NYC Department of Buildings Elevator Inspector's License
- Valid and active New York State Department of Labor Elevator Inspector License
- Working knowledge of ASME A17.1, A17.2, A18.1, and NYC Building Code Chapter 30
- Ability to climb ladders, access machine rooms, and work in confined spaces
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and means to travel to job site within the five boroughs
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
